A high-performance group: “Sistem”
Europe on Water Istanbul 2010 continued with the Rumanian percussion group “Sistem”s concert on the 5th of July in Caddebostan coast road.
They had a wide and highly original repertoire consisting of instruments made from metal and plastic barrels. All this built up to a performance full of special effects that combined everything from water, lasers and even pyrotechnics.
Sistem have reached no. 3 in the 2005 Eurovision song contest along with singer Lumita Anghel and in June 2006 they opened for the legendary Depeche Mode in Bucharest. The 2006/2007 New Year’s Eve found Sistem in Berlin, performing at the one of the greatest evet in Europe -next to the Brandenburg Gate- in front of an audience of nearly 1 million people.
